Idaho is in the process of adopting EPA’s new rule Management Standards for Hazardous Waste Pharmaceuticals and Amendment to the P075 listing for Nicotine. This rule will impact how hazardous waste pharmaceuticals are managed in Idaho.
The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality is hosting a webinar on the new rule March 10, from 9:00-11:00 am MST. We will focus on how this rule impacts hazardous waste pharmaceutical management at healthcare facilities, including but not limited to hospitals and clinics, optical or dental providers, long-term care facilities, pharmacies, chiropractors, and veterinarians.
