Continuing Education (CE) Requirement Changes:
Temporary changes were made to Idaho Board of Veterinary Medicine’s Rules IDAPA 24.38.01.03 and 24.38.01.102.03 on March 20, 2020. Biannual Continuing Education (CE) credit requirements were CUT IN HALF for both Veterinarians and Certified Veterinary Technicians, and these requirements will continue until after the June 2021 renewal period. In addition, ALL of the credits can be obtained online.
Until June 30, 2021, Veterinarians require (10) CE credits and Certified Veterinary Technicians require (7) CE credits for their biannual CE period. After the June 2021 renewal period, the Veterinarian’s CE requirements will revert to (20) and the Certified Veterinary Technicians to (14). All CE credits will still be able to be obtained online.
